Yuhuuu folks! Finally I'm here to update posts about my trip to South Island New Zealand! ^_^
Yeahhh, I spent quite a long time to tidy up all the photos. In fact, it shouldn't take that long time but due to my laziness, I kept delaying it and ended up with all of them just done by last night. LOL. ^O^ Ahhh, if not I got scolded by my parents, I guess I won't be that 'hardworking' too. Mmmm.. *evil grins*
I was thinking whether I want to combine everything in a post, or divide by days. After considering for quite sometime, and due to too many things I would love to share, I have decided to separate all of them. ^@^ I hope you enjoy reading it. And I hope I would be able to update everything before the coming CNY. Hohoho!
Alright, I shall start now..
New Zealand has been one of my dream countries since I was a small girl. FYI, it is well-known with its sheeps and cows, milk, beautiful sceneries and bla bla bla. I used to think like "Arrr.. There are lots of sheeps and cows on a wide green field, and snow mountains right behind it." That's my imagination towards the sceneries before I went there. And it is a peaceful country that is much different with our country Malaysia. I love peaceful life seriously. Weee.. ^o^ *peace out*
I didn't think of having the chance to visit this country during this age, although I've been to a number of countries before. My parents have brought me to these places, that's more than enough for me. I know it's my turn to bring them out for travelling when I can afford it in the future. ^@^ However, until early of 2009, when my dad told us about the plan, I was soooooo surprised and excited! I couldn't believe it! ^O^ I'm lucky because my dad loves travelling, and one of his dreams is bringing our family to visit New Zealand right before our family separates, of course to take a visit to my aunty's house too. This would be a most memorable part for my family, in our life. You know, as time goes by, we're getting older now and we're having our own life soon. ~.~
And most importantly, twenty-two of us, combination of four families among our relatives, have made this journey became so SPECIAL and AWESOME!
My dad has been planning for this trip for almost a year. During the spreading of H1N1 disease period really freaks us out.. Fortunately everything was over and our travelling plan was still ON. *sigh of relief* And please, only our 'beloved' country Malaysia was taking this disease 'too seriously'! The media reported it like an extremely serious matter! It wasn't a big matter for other countries! OMG.. *speechless*
NEW ZEALAND is known as the 'youngest country on earth'. It is a country that has spectacularly beautiful landscapes includes vast mountain chains, steaming volcanoes, sweeping coastlines, deeply indented fiords and lush rainforests with only population of just over four million people. For those who loves nature, New Zealand is definitely a top choice for you to travel. ^_^
The best part for me is having the opportunity to drive in New Zealand, even though I was driving illegally as I'm still under age according to the rules over there. It was the first time I drove in a foreign country, which has become the most memorable part for my life. *smile widely* Although I just drove for a short distance, but that's more than enough. I still enjoyed being a passenger in the car, looking at the sceneries outside the car along the journey. For me, it was totally an eyesight satisfaction. ^@^
For me, New Zealand is definitely a beautiful country.
Overall, I really had a nice trip. But now, if you ask me whether I want to visit New Zealand again, I will consider to visit North Island but not South Island anymore. There are lots of places over the world are still waiting for us to discover! @_@
Ahhaaa.. Let's talk about where I've been to throughout this twenty days! We arrived at Christchurch, from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo, Mount Cook, Te Anau, Milford Sound, Queenstown, Wanaka, Oamaru and etc. We didn't able to visit the whole island, and not even half of it! Hahaha.. We went there on end of last year and came back on early of this year. Time flies. "=.= Therefore, we've celebrated our 'Dong Zhi', Christmas and New Year 2010 in New Zealand.
Flashback to the first day of the trip.. Everything seems like just happened in a short while only.. =.=
We were freaking excited before the departing day of our trip. My dad has booked a bus to fetch our three families from Temerloh and KL respectively to KLIA. Bus?! Yes it's BUS! Because it is much cheaper compared to book several cars or vans or whatever! LMAO! ^O^ That's sooooooo fun!
On that morning, after we have prepared everything, and HERE WE GOOOOOOO! *shouting+jumping*

Our luggage. In fact, we packed too many things to bring over there. ~_~ It takes a lot of space and so inconvenient as we have to move things here and there, in and out the car, from place to place.
Here's an advice, if you're going on a vacation in your own next time, especially to places like these, please don't bring too many things. LMAO. ^O^ *laughing loudly*
Wowwwwwww! WE'RE SOOOOOO EXCITED! YEAHHH! ^O^
Before arriving KLIA, we stopped at Sri Petaling to have our meal before taking the flight in the afternoon. And they said, they would miss Malaysian food very much throughout the coming twenty days. Zzzzz. "=.=
I took a bowl of 'liu wei tangshui'.
And so-called 'hakka mee'. But it tasted more like 'gon lou mee', 'hakka mee' wasn't like this. Anyway, it's pretty delicious. *drools* ^@^
My cousin Ee Wey.
The naughty but cute one, Yu Shen. *like this photo*
Arrived KLIA and met up with other relatives.
My cousin Vik Kee staying in Kota Kemuning who I've not seen her for few months. LOL. ^O^
All of us before departing. Everyone was so excited! Yeahhh! ^@^
Of course that's MEEEE with the air ticket. *say cheese*
Arrived Changi Airport Singapore to transit. We stayed there for about four hours with free Internet access. That was the place I managed to go online before flying off. FYI, I didn't bring along my laptop during my trip. I wanted to carry my DSLR so I have chosen not to bring it. That's a smart choice, I guess. Because it has forced me NOT TO ONLINE during the period, yet I failed and still used my brother's laptop to online when I got any single chance! LMAO, or I just wanted to transfer the photos into my external hard disk. "=.=
My Camry Bob Bob and I. It has been a long time I didn't step into Singapore and I did that time. LMAO.
During the four hours free time, we had japanese food as our lunch. Ahhh.. That's the ramen I took in Ajisen Ramen. It's nice! *thumbs up* We even thought of during our Beijing and Seoul trip few years ago, our whole family was craving for that ramen on a few nights. ~o~
Christmas decorations in Changi Airport Singapore.
In fact, everyone was quite worried with how to pass the time during the journey in flight for such a long period. "=.=
And yeah, before I forget, we took Singapore Airline from KLIA to Riccarton Airport Christchurch. Thus, we had to transit at Singapore. One hour journey from KLIA to Changi Airport and more than ten hours from Singapore to Christchurch. Hmmm. ^_^ Singapore Airline is the best flight I've ever taken! Even though it is just economic class, it is already quite comfortable and most importantly, every passenger has a TV at their seats. That's effing awesome! I didn't feel bored all the way from Singapore to Christchurch because I was busy watching the latest movies I've missed out in the cinema. We even didn't want to sleep because we wanted to watch movies. ~.~
Nothing too special on the first day, it's just taking flight, transit and bla bla bla.. *yawning*
Yours truly,
