I had been busy last few days.
Now, the sleepless nights were over.
But, sleepless and less and less nights are coming."=.=

And the semester break for two months. Wuhuuuuu!
Anyway I'm happy with that.^_^
*shouting and jumping happily*
There was an assignment on the Monday about Malaysian Media History.
And we were asked to write an article about 700 words in 2 hours time.
The title was "The Future of Media in Malaysia".
Thanks God, we were able to submit on time.
We got back the result today.
But it was sucks!!! I mean MINE!!!T.T
I know I couldn't write well, what a poor writing skills.
I didn't have wide knowledge about media too.
I'm not interested to know about the history of media actually.
Sometimes I'm wondering whether I'm suitable for this course or not?~.~

The Future of Media in Malaysia
What do you think lies ahead for us/journalists?
Before Malaysia reached independence on 1957, it was colonialized by British, Portugal, Holland, Japan and several more countries. During that time, the advent of the printing presses and the mass media in Malaya was brought about by European colonialism. From the first newspaper Prince of Wales Island Gazette (PWIG) was published until the latest form of media such as blogging today, it shows that the big changes and growth of the media. Many laws are amended as media plays an important role in our life today. Without media, we will not get to know the latest information or knowledge, improve and let ourselves following up the current issues.
The state of media of Malaysia includes television, radio, newspapers and web-based media such as bloggers. There are many media outlets are owned directly by the government of Malaysia, owned by component parties of the Barisan Nasional coalition government or owned by the private media companies. It is the fact that we are increasingly living in an era of media convergence. The advent of digital media platforms are leading to the convergence of various forms of media including print, broadcast, the Internet and mobile technology. Our country has also actively embraced new media technology and the Government's Multimedia Super Corridoor initiative has opened up the media landscape through the rapid expansion of the Internet and mobile telecommunications. Undeniably, the media context has seen profound changes over the past few decades in our country. So what will happen to the media in the future? What kind of changes will be in the media?
From my opinion, I admit that blog has become a useful space for the person to write down everything they like due to the freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak freely without censorship or limitation which is synonymously with freedom of expression. We can voice out our opinions, comments onto certain issues. Even though we are free to speak, but we must know how to make good use of it and apply it smartly and wisely. We can't against the Sedition Act or Internal Security Act (ISA) which were amended long ago and strictly controlled during Mahathir's time. If we against it, we are just like bringing trouble to ourselves. During Badawi's time, the media has changed. It is not longer being that transparency like what had happened during Mahathir's time. Many shocking news about the political issues appeared freely, and readers are willing to give many different response. Ok, but what is new about this?
Nowadays, blog is one the recent and growing popularity of websites and has become a household term now. The blog isn't just about the person who writes it, but also about the community that springs up around it. Many bloggers write their comments on the blog and some causes arguments. For instance, the recent skirmishes between the state and the ruling party on one side and bloggers like Jeff Ooi, Ahirudin Attan, Nathaniel Tan and Raja Petra Kamarudin on the other. If such conditions keep continue, it may destroy the peace and stability of our politics. This is because Internet media is closest to us nowadays compared to the traditional media. It influences us a lot.
In the future, media may become very free and easy. In the Internet, everyone may owns their own space or blog to voice out what they feel and think. But this is already happening now. The use of traditional media such as newspapers might decreasing slowly. From Internet, they can connecting themselves faster and easier to the web and get the current issues immediately. They can voice out their opinions and comments straightly. However, the media is changing from day to day. It may change to another form. We can't sure what will happen in the future. The media might become more strict? Or it may become very free? Anyway, the media changes due to the politics, social, economics, education and everything happens in a country. Therefore, the future of the media is unpredictable. We are just an ordinary citizen, as long as we don't do anything against the rules amended by government, we are still living peacefully.
Hi, Your ideas are not new and they tend to be very repetitive. Do you notice that? Kindly read others' and see what they have written. Think outside the box.

How embarrassing!!!>o<
I only get 3 marks out of 10 marks. Ishhh..
But it is my own choice to publish this out.
It's ok for me because I know, I'm really not suitable to be a journalist.
I'm blogger, but not a good writer.
What are the differences?
*LOL-ing*
So people, what about your comments onto the future of media in Malaysia?
What do you think it will happen?
Leave me some comments if possible.^@^
I really need to improve myself as well.
Positive or negative comments are acceptable, don't worry.
